Lots of big and succeed business are take a franchise system. Because, we can enjoy the result of our hard work while others run our business. They will pay royalty for our business system, such as our brand, product, etc. Therefore, many people like to launch their business into a franchise. But some of them failed before they get succeed with their franchise.
There are six steps that everyone needs to know before franchising their business:
1. Business and self audit
Before, launching our business into franchise, we have to make sure ourselves ready for that. Ask ourselves about the risk and problems that will hamper our business. Beside that, make sure our business has ready to fit into franchise. We have to think about our employee, our department, and all the resources in our company. Are them ready to fit into franchise?
2. Creating our business model
This is important step. We have to create a business model or blue print of our franchise planning. Business blue print will explain about all process and analysis in our business.
3. Testing our Business Model
In this step, we have to test our business model on reality operation. All process and analysis that we had planned in our business blue print will test. Are the business worked as well as we planned? If yes, we can walk to next step.
4. Marketing the Franchise
After get succeed with our business model on real market. Now is time for us to let people know that our business launched into franchise. Make sure we launched it with all legal agreement.
5. Selecting the Franchisees
Make sure, we follow this step carefully. Because of our franchisees will establish the future of our business. We have to make sure their quality and if necessary we should make a training for them before taking our franchise.
6. Managing Franchisees
If we had selected the best franchisees for our franchise, this step will not need anymore. Make sure that we have a strong relationship with our franchisees. All problems in franchise must be done as soon as possible. Make effective communication to get warm tie with our franchisees.
